  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Clockout platform and services.
  • Send task escalation alerts and operational notifications through our AI agent, Ro, via SMS and in-app messaging.
  • Respond to your support requests and communications.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the platform experience.

SMS communications

When you enable SMS notifications in the Clockout Admin iOS app, we collect your phone number to deliver task escalation alerts from our AI agent, Ro. These alerts notify you of urgent operational tasks that require your attention.

  • Message frequency: approximately 2–3 messages per day per store.
  • No third-party marketing sharing: your SMS data, including phone numbers and opt-in/opt-out status, will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Opt-out: you can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by disabling the "Enable SMS Notifications" toggle in the Admin iOS app.
  • Data rates: message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: we share data with third-party providers who help us operate the platform, such as Twilio for SMS delivery and cloud hosting providers for infrastructure. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only as necessary to provide their services.
  • Legal requirements: we may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

Sharing is limited to what is necessary to operate and improve the Clockout service.

We do not sell your data

Clockout does not sell your personal information to third parties. We never have and never will.
